I think he must have tried some of Cyanide Sid's Columbian marching powder!

When 4 of them were playing keep ball with him in the middle.

He reminded me of my completely mental, 'dumb as fook', Retriever.
Neither will give up, neither will stop running, no matter how pointless it is.

I wonder what would happen if we took CMS down the beach and threw stones into the sea.
Would he chase after every single one?

I had exactly the same thought

The guy is an absolute NUTTER. I've never seen anyone work as hard as him during a football match - brilliant, brilliant signing.

We all knew this before he was signed and was Gus's number one target. Think of some of the other strikers who would have cost 2.5 million. CMS is a legend and good to see him actually doing what we thought he would at this level, for us :D

You mean like Dicker's pass to Noone for the first goal? I thought Dicker had a great game yesterday although assuming Harley joins he will have a fight on his hands to keep his place. Bridcutt is a definite starter and after all the fuss I assume Harley will start which means, assuming we continue to play 2 up front and 1 of the wingers, there is only one place for Dicker, Vincelot, Sparrow and Navarro to fight for. Also, one or two of the development squad sound quite promising in midfield e.g. Kasim, Rodgers and Simmonds so they could all be challenged from there too.

And JFC :D

Based on performances so far, Harley, Dicker and Bridcutt starting with Vincelot and Sparrow on the bench would be what I'd go with.

Someone else mentioned the chasing down of the keeper when the ball bounced off him to safety, that was quite late in the game and he still had bags of energy. Really impressed by him, excellent work rate and nice finish for his goal (good play in the build up as well, good cross from Noone) Shame about the chance from Lua Lua's cross, would've been 3-1 at that point and game wrapped up, unlucky not take all 3 points. Excellent start to the season and very impressed with the new boys - the stadium is beyond my wildest dreams, only thing a little off-putting was the pre match build up over the PA, too cheesy for me, but i'll get used to it!

Halfway line balls kicked out at pace to CMS he overhead kicks it 30 yards in front of himself , its picked up by a blackpool defender whom has to hurry his clearence as CMS has already closed him down , the ball falls to another blackpool defender on the opposite side of the pitch who in turn has to make a hurried 25 back pass to his keeper as CMS has closed him down in the blink of an eye , the keeper smashes the ball away only for it to hit CMS who had closed him down , the ball rebounded to safety but it was an amazing passage of play its only a matter of time before a keeper smashes it against him and its in the net .

remember that , astonishing ! he is a superb team player and yopu can see why gus wanted him somuch . defending from the front etc
