He reminded me of my completely mental, 'dumb as fook', Retriever.
Neither will give up, neither will stop running, no matter how pointless it is.

I wonder what would happen if we took CMS down the beach and threw stones into the sea.
Would he chase after every single one?

It's no wonder Gus was so keen to get him in, the guy is absolutely awesome.

We've had hard working forwards before (OGH, Revell etc.) but never have I seen one who looked as dangerous as CMS does. He was really getting to Gilks in the Blackpool goal, who made several mistakes as CMS charged at him.

He's quick, he's strong, he never gives up and he knows where the back of the net is. You always feel he's capable of doing damage, even when there's seemingly nothing on.

I know it's early days but I can see him becoming a VERY important player for us, and clearly a fans favourite.

Absolutely LOVE the guy

Halfway line balls kicked out at pace to CMS he overhead kicks it 30 yards in front of himself , its picked up by a blackpool defender whom has to hurry his clearence as CMS has already closed him down , the ball falls to another blackpool defender on the opposite side of the pitch who in turn has to make a hurried 25 back pass to his keeper as CMS has closed him down in the blink of an eye , the keeper smashes the ball away only for it to hit CMS who had closed him down , the ball rebounded to safety but it was an amazing passage of play its only a matter of time before a keeper smashes it against him and its in the net .

Yep, he is absolutely amazing !

Imagine if there was a higher class of player in Dicker's position.
CMS, Barnes & Hoskins are waiting on the defenders shoulders, to destroy them.
With that player, we'd be scoring even more freely.
CMS was offside many times, but only because the instinctive pass/ball was slow coming.

Gus will have TB's cheque book out again!

I love the guy. If I was gay he'd be my number one target!!! £2.5m, bargain of the century, worth every single penny, and more!

I think i am falling in love with him myself, please don`t tell the wife she`s only just got over me loving Gus.

Are you purposefully trying to wind some people up? Dicker played some quality passes today as is mentioned in the match report.

Nope. Not anti-Dicker, who was a star of the last 2 years, and wouldn't want him out of the Club, and he played better than vs Doncaster.

But you can see some real free scoring if quick throughballs came to CMS.

Gus wants to buy more this month. Don't think Bennett in that central position truely replaced yet, to that standard we are aspiring to as Championship promotion candidates/EPL.

Perhaps Dicker could then revert to a little deeper.

I think it's easy to criticise a lack of vision from the stands but I do accept your point that there were times when people could have been put in the clear, and weren't.

He is absolutely fantastic . Chases all lost causes and turns them into chances
Runs his socks off. My favourite player by a long way. He reminds me of Michael Robinson he always ran his heart out.
By the way a song for him is well overdue.

You mean like Dicker's pass to Noone for the first goal? I thought Dicker had a great game yesterday although assuming Harley joins he will have a fight on his hands to keep his place. Bridcutt is a definite starter and after all the fuss I assume Harley will start which means, assuming we continue to play 2 up front and 1 of the wingers, there is only one place for Dicker, Vincelot, Sparrow and Navarro to fight for. Also, one or two of the development squad sound quite promising in midfield e.g. Kasim, Rodgers and Simmonds so they could all be challenged from there too.
