To be fair anyone with even a slight in taste in music knows they are annoyingly bland and only have the crowd in the palm of their hand because the music by numbers approach works on the masses who love their "pop Radio 2 friendly rock". (I use the term "rock" loosely in a semi ironic way). I absolutely hate them, I'm not alone thank god.

Just tired of all the tedious anti Coldplay shite I read on here all the time.

I never thought we could put this sort of spectacle on as a Nation but I think you can safely say that Great Britain certainly delivered 110%

Makes you wonder what a great World cup we would have put on. f***ing FIFA missed a trick there, it would have been the biggest earning best attended and supported world cup ever and instead the gangsters and oil barons of Russia greased the right palms and won the honour.

Got friends in East London, fireworks been going off for 5 mins!!! This ain't live!!

My son lives in Highbury and Islington. He confirmed that there was a five minute lag but who cares? Really enjoyed it tonight. If I had one complaint, I would have liked to see more of the athletes during the night.

Enjoyed it.

Personally I thought that was outstanding and I am not a huge Coldplay fan. The way the songs seemed to perfectly match the incredible achievements of all the Paralympians was incredibly clever. I have to say I am sad that these Games are over and hope, although I am not optimistic, that the good feelings will continue for a long time to come. What a summer.
