Actually, it would be rude not to go wouldn't it? x

Yep it would, I really am seriously considering it, 4 years to save up, a country I've never been to, ticks all the boxes In So many ways including the added bonus of football being a religion over there. Gotta be worth it.

Fair play to Sebastian Coe. He has done a very good job.

I agree - I think it will be a fantastic carnival atmosphere and you won't be short of crumpet there!

Coldplay shit. Rhianna shit. What the f*** is wrong with you lot they are both quality acts. Get a grip.

So you like them which means everybody else's opinion is wrong. Methinks it's you that needs to get a grip.

Just picked this up from the BBC website "Not sure how the campaign to rebuild Brighton's burnt-out West Pier is going to take this - the steamship has been made using iron salvaged from the site." I do hope they asked before they took it, the pier might fall down......oh too late!

Do you think it is because this is being shown in other countries around the world they are making her cover up a bit? I guess other countries might not be as liberal as we are ?

They are not exactly a party band though are they? I thought that this was a celebration , not just a Coldplay concert.

I appreciate people like them, but IMHO it's not about them...it's about the athletes having a ball....maybe they are...can't see really

This is the second time they have sung this!

To be fair to Coldplay they have done a decent job, not everyone's taste but they have performed well enough. It wouldn't have mattered who was chosen to headline some would still have slated them, personally my comments were firmly tongue in cheek and at least we didn't have a succession of vacuous 'talent' show bands squealing away.

I'm sorry but you lot are f***ing miserable sometimes. This dude is singing one of the most soul destroying songs I have ever heard, BUT..........BUT.........BUT.........This is about the athletes, and the tv cameras just cut to them and they are having a ball by the look of things and loving this.

Its not all about wether we are going to enjoy it sat in front of out tv's. If they are enjoying it, so am I!!! (adverts are shit though)
