He was a lone ranger yesterday, in that he did NOT play with that careful tee-ing up of the ball - he simply ran at them, around tham, and poked it in the net.
The rest of the side were doing great things up to their area, then trying fancy high balls into the box that the defence found fairly simple to field. The goallies are ALWAYS going to have an easy time with most of those, and not playing balls on the ground when we have smaller forwards for most of the match is suicide.

We have to get skilled strikers like Knight and Carole forward, inside from the wings and ready to snaffle chances in the area.
CKR was great, completely a breath of fresh stuff from what preceded his entrance. In that way, a brilliant sub I spose.
 


It's been coming for CKR. He was also very good at Leeds, his coming on late in that game lifted us to the third goal, it was his strength, turn and lay-off that put Leon away down the flank to get the cross in that embarrassed Gregan.

The goal was what he needed and certainly what we needed. Great to see such quality. The shot from distance that went just over would have been better still. Very good news.
