Very well taken by a player with bags of self-belief.

Let's hope he doesn't read NSC then, he'll soon lose it when he realises all the "experts" think he's crap!

It was a good goal, and it's enough to earn him the shirt. Being dropped has had a positive effect on CKR, he really wanted to play, he got hungry not sulky. Hopefully CKR will be able to take his chance and keep hold of his position.

Also what about the 30 yard shot just over the bar, a very impressive strike.

I liked the way they described it.

First touch with his head, second touch with his chest, left foot, right foot, goal.

That struck me too. They'd obviously watched it a few times to describe it.

I hope there are many more to come like that.

Great goal, not bad for the first touch of a game and the first (hopefully) of many more in the stripes.

Bywaters was totally bemused by it - not sure he even saw the shot :lolol:

I confidently predict that will be his first and last goal of the season and if by some sort of FLUKE he gets 10 goals this season I will climb the floodlight pylon by the North Stand and bare my backside :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

Colin Pepsi Richards = Graham Barrett 2005 FACT

I'm still waiting for the stunt you said you would do if we stayed up last season.

Bottler :lolol: :lolol:

Saw CKR's goal on itv this morning , reminded me of Bobby Z with the control he used, this will boost his confidence no end. Looking forward to see him in the starting line up at Turf Moor next saturday as I believe that Jakey is probably better coming on as a super sub.
