Very well taken by a player with bags of self-belief.

It was the way he controlled the ball and then turned before unleashing the shot that impressed me just as much.

As for his goal, very impressive from a confident young man, now as a lot of people were saying this week he needed a goal, he's got it so hopefully it will be up up up for CKR now:clap:

Quality goal and the boy made a marked impression on the game from coming on to final whistle IMHO

I think that maybe now is the time for one or two changes, to rest a few and keep others hungry. It seesm that CKR has benefited from his rest and should perhaps start next week. Maybe fruity in for Carole also?

Exactly. I also think that he has been superb, but we still have a relatively small squad with some fairly inexperienced and young players who could possibly benefit from being dropped / rested.

Shouldn't need to rest players as they have a full week to recover.

True, but perhaps the more inexperienced players lose a bit of concentration playing week in week out, and need a bit of time to recharge mentally more than anything. And once they get their chance again they'll be trying that bit harder.

I would rest Robinson next week and start with CKR. Robinson has never been a regular at this level before, its inevitable that he is going to need to re-charge his batteries at some point.

CKR looked very lively when he came on, full of hunger. A start wouldn't do his confidence any harm either.

I agree with that. Turienzo must get a look in too surely.
