CKR - Just hasn't improved this season

He was fed a number of good passes, but he seemed too concerned with the approaching defenders and took his eye off the ball everytime. This lack of concentration lost him the ball everytime. ).

That is exactly what John Byrne said, he always strikes me as very fairminded with maybe a hint of bias in Albion player's favour. He sounded well pissed off about it and mentioned it on a couple of occasions.

CKR is a player who for me has so much raw potential, he's skillful and has a belter of a shot on him but just has not made any progress this season. Yesterday highlighted this to me, once again, his first touch was terrible and he just could not play with a big centre back on his back, he never won the ball and was uncomfortable throughout with someone close to him, progress on the improvement of his positional play has been stagnant this season and he still has an unwarranted swagger.

Is this the fault of the coaching staff?
Can the player just not be taught?
Or is it a mixture of both?

the problem is service- or lack of it- fruity and seb are just not up to this grade of football, midfield is where games are won and lost- we dont have one- chippy's to old, hammond is useless and the french boys are to lightweight,

CKR cannot be expected to score goals without proper service, we'll have the same problem next year without a decent midfield.

Agreed except for the hammond comment...think he's been our only midfielder most of the season

Id say Hammond has been the worst midfielder for some time now, I think he should have been rested ages ago and a different central midfield tested.

All very true. This obsession with the strikers is ridiculously short-sighted; the problems are equally with the rest of the team.
