If you don't like how McGhee and the team is being run, than don't fcuking go to games and support the club!

There are plenty of other people who are young, support the club thick and thin, and would love to go to games - thats me.

:dunce:

Are you suggesting you can't go because the moaners take up all the tickets? I'm fairly sure there were a few free seats at Stoke ...

So where does your souce come from?

I was there today, right behind the goal (dead central) and about half way up (in the thick of it). Not once did I hear Leon's name sung out, not once did I hear calls for McGhee to be sacked.
However, I did hear several renditions of "Pints of whiskey" and "MM blue and white army".

I didn't see any toe-to-toe stuff (off the field) either. Except MM got well wound up just before half-time when Seb got flatened.

  hear hear i must have been v close to you and i didnt hear any such chanting apart from what you described ..the only booing heard was at halftime as the ref was being led off

Also forgot to mention the appluase MM got as he clapped fans at the end !

I thought there were some mutterings when Jakey was subbed and McPhee came on: but I have to confirm what others said, there was NO chanting for McGhee's head on Saturday.

Let me clear this up, when we started singing Drinking pints of whisky mark Mcghee, some fat twat shouted out Mcghee is a wanker and then this bloke behind me said to him shut up mate he kept us up, and then the fat twat said he is still a wanker keeping Knight out today, and then they started shoving and stuff but some of us stopped it.

Not entirely true now is it. I missed the initial incident as I went to the bar as soon as we went one down. But from what one of the parties said happened was when the first goal went in he made comments along the lines that McGhee was wrong to leave Knight out (slightly stronger than that) and someone told him to shut up and when he disagreed these two numpties from the Reading area decided that the only way to prove they were right was to revert to trying to throw their weight around. I am told that people them tried to calm it down. But at half time it started to rare up again. This calmed down a bit, but then they continued the discusion with a couple more of us and did not like what we had to say and so got threatening again.

On to the second half and one of them took offence to some ironic applause when McGhee brought McPhee on and decided that he and his mate should stand between 2 of us and spent the next ten minutes telling me he did not like me, even though we had only been accquainted for about 30 minutes. Then he decided that pushing and shoving me was the best way forward. When it was suggested that violence in a gound was not the best way forward and if they had real issues it was best that this was settled elsewhere lots of bravardo appeared from them, until the others I was travelling with appeared and then these 2 individual dissappeared out of the ground, rather fast.

Now whether the orginal person was right to question McGhee, well that is his choice, he had paid his money etc and to say a drink was involved is an understatement, but these 2 individuals from the Reading area were numpties of the highest order and seemed intent on forcing their opinions on anyone that did not fall in with their tunnelled views.

Now Kev, you might not agree with what my mate said originally, I do not always agree with what a lot of them say, but please do not go calling somebody you do not know a twat, especially from the safety of your keyboard and an internet connection. Ok?

i heard a lot of rumblings of discontent about knight being left out and also about robinson. mainly from behind were i was sitting. a few people bit harsh when robinson was subbed saying they werent clapping him cos he was shit and not good enough.

i did hear a few people have a go at mcghee calling him a wanker after his substitutions and where was knight.

Well as Pete has only been away once this season, I am struggling to think of who you are talking about.

Maybe I've got it wrong - but whenever I've seen the taxman these two have been there and there abouts - fellow train travellers I suppose

Possibly. One of them is not a grey haired bloke with glasses, shall we say rotund?

That pretty much sumed it all up.

Looks like somebody failed to follow the NSC approved singing of songs on Saturday. People having a different opinion is most certainly not allowed.

I disagree about Knight, i think it was right to drop the clown, but what were we left with? Yet another toothless display up front.

It was down to the hardcore support on Saturday (about 500) and once again people not at the match prepared to comment on incidents. I know the people involved and they think McGhee should swollow his pride and play Knight, who is one of our most talented players. Others disagreed and decided they wanted to push people about. Sad to**ers in my book.

Football is all about opinions, but some people have in there head that certain people cannot even be questions about decisions they make. McGhees record speaks for itself at the moment, it is NOT good. We finished last season poory and have started this season poorly.

Anyway us lot that travle by train will be there through thick and thin, through rain, sleet or snow and even if a beer shortage occured!

Well said.

Although, what is this about a beer shortage? Not sure I would leave the flat is that happened. Although I blame Saturday on the Westons Organic, truely evil stuff.

Due to the high levels of consumption of alcohol this Saturday, blamed on Apples birthday celebrations, the nations beer reserve fell dramatically. Breweries around the country have been asked to step up production in the next few days, or the price of a crate of cider may double in the coming weeks.

Suggestions that people should cut down on there own consumption for the next few days were dismased "assssss a losh of toshhh" by some local winos in West Street. They were then seen returning to work hiding cans of special brew under their jackets.

The Fatty taxman, a local beer expert, was unable to comment after falling off his bar stall and knocking himself out. He was later seen knocking on the pub door at 2am demanding to be let back in.

Meanwhile windy miller refused to go back to work after hearing about the shortage of cider
