"Palace sources told Mail Sport that the talks with Raine are focused on raising money to help fund the redevelopment of Selhurst Park."

What about the ring fenced funds ?

I'm not sure how many points that £750,000,000.00 will convert to, in their aim to avoid relegation ?

The club have obtained planning permission for a £150million expansion of the main stand, with building work due to start later this year,

I've heard that before now where was it.

Oh yes, here

Hang on what?

So the stadium is worth what, £8m?

Where’s the other £742m coming from?

At a complete guess, something like:

Stadium and land, £50m
Training ground and land, £40m
Players, £200m
Premier League place, £300m
The rest - just like my figures - pulled out of their arse.

If this is an auction, I'll start the bid with a cautious 2p.
I’ve been through the spare change pot, and am prepared to ringfence 17p.

Come on NSC, we’ve got this!

Welcome back folkes, you're here with me Jim White and we've got some breaking news - as you've heard in the last 10 minutes, Crystal Palace is for sale, and we're now joined live by football expert Kieran Maguire for comment. Good morning Kieran, thank you for joining us. Quite something to wake up to on a Sunday a morning. What can you tell us about this sale?

Ok. Blimey. Well you heard it here first folks.

Pretty desperate isn't it?

I mean, the stated appointment of Raine Group is to source a top up of £45M to get the new stand funded. I thought that the US shareholders were worth, or had access to billions. £45M between then is fukk all.

It smacks of a most disharmonious board. Well played Beaky.

Oh, another thing: "Parish has been chairman of Palace since 2010 when he saved the club from administration and the threat of liquidation". My understanding is that he stiffed Jordan by pulling out of a deal to save the reformed club so was part of an administration resulting in the 2010 phoenix-from-the-flames.
