FFS! Not another big-I-am prima donna footballer with too much 'attitood', I hope.

If he doesn't want to come to us, then bollox too him. We need players who are committed and enthusiastic.

Yeah, OK, I know such values are virtually obsolete in these money-obsessed times, and I'm some kind of dinosaur, but that doesn't actually make them wrong.

No point wasting our time on some billy big bollocks non-league player.
Withdraw the offer and get an established player in.

:lolol:i really hope this is a serious post.

No-one knows what has been offered! We may have offered a STUPID offer in which I would fully expect a young player to look out For himself and get the best deal be can.

Would you take a job if you felt you were being ripped off?

Remember these guys aren't getting thousands a week. A non league player will be offered quite sensible wages and a short contract.

Why is everyone getting so up themselves. It's called negotiations. How many of you would accept the first offer that is put to you. Perhaps the club should not have announced anything until personal terms were agreed and the only outstanding point was the medical. Then this thread would have been a lot shorter!!!

Hold on, hold on, we know absolutely nothing about this deal, so lay off on the speculation about him being Mr Big Time until something's confirmed one way or another.

Don't condemn the bloke before he's even got started. FFS...

Young non-league players should be jumping at the chance to join us!
Unless the offer is something hideous, like less than his wage at the moment, he has no reason to hold us to ransom.

Again, mad

if he has a SLIGHT increase in wage but felt he won't play then he may choose to stay and hold out for a better offer, or more football.

But again don't let this cloud the NSC judgement panel.

The annoying thing is it is wasting time to get a left winger in but not holding breath on that.

Concerning what the lad is after , how do we know , lets wait and see

Why? I am sure they are looking and multiple negotiations are possible. I wouldn't mind getting a left winger on loan until the end of the season, if there are no suitable targets on permanent at the moment.

A left winger would be my priority... let's see what happens re Chris H... not an immediate need for a striker, is there?

We don't know what he has been offered, we do know that he hasn't accepted it. Doesn't mean he will not be joining us, but there would be no point paying him a fortune until he has proved he can cut it.

Maybe not, but if they like the look of him, it could be a dangerous game to wait. He might not be available to us at a later stage.

True, but not a 'biggie'... there are plenty of other promising young strikers out there I am sure... what about Fozzie's nephew for example... Craig Davies anyone?

'tis true we shouldn't condemn him without knowing the facts, but I won't lose any sleep if an unproven non league player turns us down. ( I may think differently if he goes elsewhere and turns into the new Beckford)
