Chris Holroyd Norwich

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Well no he could as least make a statement saying he wants to join another club rather than us it's the right thing to do it would stop threads like this

I honestly think he is within his rights to ponder and there is no need to make any public statements. We have given him a deadline and I am sure the he and the club are in contact with each other. We (as fans) just need to be patient.

Clearly yes otherwise you wouldn't of opened the thread , let alone posted .

Au contraire mon sweet. If he wants to go to Norwich rather than come here, I'm genuinely not bovvered.*

*Unless he turns out to be Beckford-esque in the not-too-distant, obviously.

Im sure i saw Poyet say he's going to give it 48 hours Yesterday and if he doesn't sign then he'll look else where . Saw something like that anyway in the argus.

I wonder who else was on his list of strikers though .

source?
f*** me, how can you slag him off when you don't have a clue what the offer we have made him?
If ( and that is a big if) this is true, he will move there beacause he will proberlly get higher wages and more chance of of winning things you can't blame him for that.

If you're implying i "slagged" him off then you've got it wrong , the only thing that has bothered me is that he's kept us waiting .

Not you in paticular majority of the people on this board.
He is making us " wait " beacause he is trying to get the best deal he can, would you honestly take the 1st offer given to you? No you wouldn't cause you could try and get a bit more money.
IF Norwich do come in for him with a offering a better wage, and a much better chance of winning things, then he would a f***ing idiot coming here.

How many threads now on a non-league striker who doesn't want to come here?

I'm bored of this bloke already. Tell him no deal and lets all move on to something / someone better please.

Shame the fact that we had agreed terms with his club came out otherwise we would be none the wiser and could get on with things while he choses which club he thinks is better for his long term future

It was obviously a mistake for the club to announce this as a done deal on the website. Most unlike them - just now things stay quiet until they are done, so they must have thought this was a certain deal.

I can't believe some of the posts here. I sounds like everybody is making judgments about the kid, agent, our management and Cambridge management without having a clue about any real facts. So far everything is heresay.

Its like everybody here reads the Sun - and actually believes the stories it prints!!!

Lets concentrate on what happens on the pitch.

Is he Darren Currie in disguise.....oh yes what happened to him.....lol

Forget him and move on, I would much prefer to see someone who is proud to wear the badge and respect all that it stands for.

If Holroyd does go to Norwich i can see it going the same way as it has for Stuart Fleetwood when he went to Charlton when we were trying to sign him.

Eventually when he did rock up he he was bloody quick but not that great

The thing that would put me off him is that he hasn't scored for quite a while. Sure, he's being double or even triple marked, but you would expect someone with real ability to be able to find the net once or twice - just by being in the area.

Could the hold up be over relocation expenses as property is cheap in and around Norwich in comparison to Brighton or Haywards Heath area. He wouldnt be the first to come up with that reason for not signing.

Added to which if he already lives in the Cambridge area Norwich has a lot more to offer locationwise, a win, win situation for the player, who could blame him ?
