When the deal appearred to be falling through on Monday I would assume Gus had a contingency plan to chase another player, so we may something this weekend.
Sounds like this could be happening Norwich City Football Club Fans Community - Wrath of the Barclay
Don't like that style of messageboard!

Bovvered?
Last day panic again. It's not as if Holroyd was coming to be the main striker. Having someone in by Millwall is not a big priority, for me, because, by and large, Murray and Forster have been playing very well.
As BG said, I am sure GP has other irons in the fire, which he will pursue before Monday 5pm if Holroyd says no. Ultimately, we don't want to sign someone who would rather be elsewhere.
Clearly yes otherwise you wouldn't of opened the thread , let alone posted .
Last day panic again.
Hmm....now let me see - Norwich (certs for promotion) or Brighton (fighting relegation)....where would I go?

Possibly sit on the bench at the best or start the game! not so clear cut.
no problems with that, but he either WANTS to play for us or not. Leaving the club dangling by the string toward the final few days of the transfer window when we could be looking at other options is a bit twattish is it not?
So far I've been really disappointed in the business we've done in this transfer window. Let's hope we don't come to regret it.
