They are unequivocally worse than our government. Do some proper research. Facts, dear boy, facts.Well, that is a Western view you can have of course.
I'm not a fan of any of them but if they're really worse, more disliked or more incompetent than our equivalents... dubious.
Some kind of revolution in China, which is still probably far off, would not necessarily make the world a better place... it might make it a different place, however. Today we are pretty reliant on Chinese stability to have stability in our own societes.
All facts points towards China being a substaintially better governed country than England. If you think your government has increased the standards of living more than China has in the last 30 years, think again. If you think you've had more growth than China, think again. If you think you've increased the income of the average more than China, think again. If you think you've developed your technology, industry and infrastructure more than China, think again. If you think you've improved your influence and importance on a global scale more than China, think again. They are unequivocally worse than our government. Do some proper research. Facts, dear boy, facts.
Most of us on here, me included try and view things from other people’s perspective. And we come to our own conclusions.
Our insight likely comes from having travelled to other countries and talked to the people etc.
You, however couldn’t even get yourself together enough to get to Portslade.
I don’t believe for a second that you are a Brighton supporter. I think you were googling conspiracy theories and one of our threads came up so you decided to stick around and talk shite.
So instead of sitting at your grubby little keyboard, telling us all we are ignorant and brain washed , why don’t you put down the joint, clear a path through the pizza boxes, and go see the world. You pompous, Nathan Barley, arse-wit.
Further to the above statement
I judge governments on a wide range of criteria. You should look into the cost of that growth. Human and otherwise. All facts points towards China being a substaintially better governed country than England. I've also been to places. Whether I've been to Portslade or not doesn't really matter, its only the centre of the world if you're you.
it is and i am not aware of any studies that tested the theory BUT a simple understanding of the process would indicate it MUST reduce the flow of contaminated air. What didn't help was a) people not wearing mask who could b) people not wearing masks properly c) people thinking masks gave them some form of immunity so dropped off other precautions.Old discussions now but masks or no masks, outcome was very similar. There's very little indicating that wearing or not wearing a mask had any major impact.
We're governed by an elected government, they are not,All facts points towards China being a substaintially better governed country than England. Now you’ve got me thinking. We're governed by an elected government, they are not,
If we don't like them we get rid, in China people like you have no voice
So do I.I judge governments on a wide range of criteria. You should look into the cost of that growth. Human and otherwise.
If you have been to places, you didn’t learn much. I imagine you very much take your silly opinions with you and try and teach the natives what you have “researched”. Sort of like a daft missions.
You come across as a naive, immature, easily influenced, easily lead, ill informed twerp.
Grow up. Learn some stuff. Get out of your bedroom.
Yeah I remember you guys electing Rishi and Liz... or not. We're governed by an elected government, they are not,
If we don't like them we get rid, in China people like you have no voice
Governed? your having a laugh. We're governed by an elected government, they are not,
If we don't like them we get rid, in China people like you have no voice
Unpalatable, and you’re quite deliberately ignoring all human rights considerations, but the statistical evidence backs you up. Which frankly, is dreadful. So do I.
To me getting some 500 million out of poverty is worth more than having the free speech to say "we need to reduce poverty" with no one listening or doing anything. In pretty much every Western world, since the latest wave of the richer getting richer started in our neo-liberal new management societies in the 1980s, most people have said "those who earn the least should maybe earn some more and the richest percentage should perhaps pay taxes". Left wing, "centrist", right-wing parties have all shrugged and said no. Is a vote that doesn't matter any better than not having a vote at all? Is a false sense of democracy better than no democracy at all? As I see it - the difference is very small.
You're a 50+ year old who can't stop yourself from personal attacks. Perhaps the "grow up" stuff is something you should try yourself first before suggesting it to others
You can’t blame him Swedes don’t get enough sun this time of yearUnpalatable, and you’re quite deliberately ignoring all human rights considerations, but the statistical evidence backs you up. Which frankly, is dreadful.
Few very democratic systems are perfect, they all have flaws.Yeah I remember you guys electing Rishi and Liz... or not.
But you're right. China and the West have two different systems and their system is working and our isn't, because their system is based on a practical, dirty reality whilst ours are based on illusory, utopian hopes. In China, people know their voices don't count. In the West we pretend that ours do. Going to vote in an election in Europe or US is no more efficient or impactful than going to church to have a prayer, but we'd like to pretend otherwise. In China there is no pretending like that, so they're better adjusted to reality, which also makes them better at accomplishing things ("good" and " bad").
As they've said themselves: the western definition of human rights is not something they care about. Their choice. Would I want to live there? No. Has their ways worked out for them and the majority of the Chinese people? No doubt.Unpalatable, and you’re quite deliberately ignoring all human rights considerations, but the statistical evidence backs you up. Which frankly, is dreadful.
