Apparently Wogan gets paid a fortune to host the show so much so that he could do just that and Eurovision and not work the rest of the year.

I think Wogan was/is getting £1,000/hr and only recently started donating his fee since it came to light that he was the only person paid to appear on Children in Need.

Got paid about £9,000 a show but this has now stopped. Hardly a fortune, but odd.
He never asked for it, the BBC just paid it
I guess we've got no idea how much he donates to the charity itself every year.

Im not saying it isn't sad. Clearly it is tragic and the kids deserve all the money tonight raises and more.
But you would think they could find more than four or five sob stories.

I heard it was much more than that the figure was in 6 figures for the show. i.e £100k+ and also his fee for the Eurovision is or rather was £150k

I took sulfasalazine, made my tears/saliva yellow! If I were a man, I presume other things would be too. Also made everything I ate taste of salt. I couldn't eat ice cream because it tasted so rank. Mates at school thought it was hilarious. They should market it as a diet pill.
And Nick Knowles just seems like a complete knob. Especially on that DIY SOS programme.

Eeew. Did it stain your clothes? If you take it internally, then it turns your sweat orangey yellow and ruins synthetic fabrics.
