Triggs, if you don't mind sharing, what kind of stake, and potential winnings are you looking at?
And what do you need, just one of Paintball / Celtus and one of Star Neuville / Dark Glacier to place?

Interesting race tomorrow might just be the charity event at the close of proceedings. Several bookies are offering odds on this and i'm very much drawn towards Turbo and Lorna Fowler (nee Bradburne). Lorna is/was a very capable pilot, and Turbo is trained by none other than Henry Cecil, who is going to be there tomorrow - his first visit to the Festival, apparently - to see the horse run. Turbo will definitely get the trip, and if Lorna can bounce out and set a fair clip, the rest will struggle to get past.

Errrm, yes. Was a little the worse for wear last night, to say the least. Woke up this morning to find that Skybet had cut Plato from 11-4 to 9-4, and a nagging feeling in the back of a very fuzzy brain that I might have had something to do with it. Checked my account and the last login was indeed 00.35 last night. Won't go into the gory details but it will be looking very ugly this evening if Lorna doesn't do the business.

Someone I know was talking to one of the other jockeys in the race a few minutes ago, and even she reckoned that Plato's a certainty.
