a) Messi and Del Horno were both acting up but I don't think Del Horno deserved a red. It was an accident and if anything deservede a booking. One day Messi is going to get served up if he carries on that way.

b) Didier Drogba lost chelsea that game. His lack of work up fron meant the Barcelona defenders had time and space to play the correct passes. He also should have taken his chance just before the goal.

c) Maurinho needs to pipe down about players play acting. What goes around comes around.

The first thing about Messi is his stupid smug face. I don't think I would ahve got half as pissed about his antics (at the time because it ruined the game) as I did if he didn't pull this stupid grin every time the camera went near him.

I think the ref got it wrong only in so much as the tackle by Del Horno was a yellow and and the 'play acting' by both was a yellow. So the red was right, but really it should have two yellows... not sure if thats possible though.

I actually thought Terry was bloody lucky when he polaxed Messi in the area...why was that not a penalty?

I thought the Terry thing probably was a penalty but Messi was backing in.

I have noticed over the last two nights of UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FOOTBALL ON SKY SPORTS that players do back in to each other an awful lot.

I thought Barca were bloody marvelous last night, played got football on a pitch unfit to be called a cess pit, kept the ball and beat Chelsea at their own game. Oh and Drogba is definately the best African striker :lolol:

Looks more and more like a red card each time I see it. Even if it wasnt a straight red he should have been at least booked for this earlier challenge:

Where exactly does he dive in the first clip? The Chelsea player runs past the ball with his foot at knee height, straight into the Barcelona player.

As for the second tackle: what's so wrong with it? It looks to me like the Chelsea player has his eyes on the ball and nicks it away from the Barcelona player before he can get it under control.

.

That clip is decieving. What it at normal pace at you see that Del Horno knows he can't get the ball so doesn't kick it and flies into Messi, a foul but not a sending off. Messi then lands, looks at the referee and then starts rolling about in 'agony' and stays down for another minute or so. Del Horno also rolls about.

Er the studs on the knee?! Yes he got the ball first but that is irrelevant.

the ball was played, ok he followed through and caught the man . . . maybe a word in his shell like

the sending off is a f***ing joke, they both threw themsselves in to each other and neither had any intention of getting the ball, just getting the other player in trouble, I'd have booked them both.

Messi, apart from looking like a total retard is a very talented player, bt if he carries on like that someone will hurt him, badly with any luck !

They both rolled around after looking at the ref so they're both diving bastards.
I couldn't believe how Puyol stayed on the pitch when he was on a yellow and fouled Robben, late and from behind
