Before you click into the game it says if exchange is open or not. Chelsea has not opened ticket exchange as not sold out and not likely to either. Man Utd game has sold out and exchange is open.

PS: If people don't want to share tickets with friends etc - because out of principle they don't think their friends should have to be members or pay any ££ to do it or think there should be any rules around it - and just think that you should be able to share your ticket for free with anyone. Or argue that its a faff and it could be simpler to do. Then fine. Why not say so ?
But why argue that you "can't do it" . Hundreds, possibly thousands do so every match. There are 30K+ Albion + members now i think.
I have said many times disagree with sharing scheme but accepted it a long time ago so rarely comment now until this posting. We have to understand that now we are in PL like it or not it is now all about getting as much from supporters as possible (you wait for outcome of traffic review ) Even now have a couple of clubs removing OAP concessions. The sharing scheme came in not as a ST benefit but an extra income excercise and if true 30k new members good luck at £30 plus a very succesful one. It just happens that over years I or wife have been unable to attend Rugy /Theatre/Gig /Cricket test match etc and have always just passed ticket on and just happens I think it should be same for football. I repeat I accepted this a long time ago but fact is PB said when it came in was because it was depriving members opportunity to get a ticket and they needed to identify who was attending. Suited him to say that at the time but we knew this was wrong because no game for years have I been unable to get a guest ticket for someone and when I do, I do not supply name etc. I have not paid to join sharing scheme because 1) i approach every season not intending to miss any home games 2) I dont know any Albion members who are not ST holders. 3) Not willing to ask anybody I want to treat to pay £30ish to become a member for a one off game. As far as giving ticket to somebody waiting for a freeebie this is not true. In past spare tickets from our group were nearly always given to people who could not justify the cost or somebody we wanted to treat as a thank you. For example in my case a relative with health problems that would be uncomfortable on there own and a person that keeps an eye on an elderly Aunt. Shame no longer able to do this with ease and now have strangers sitting with us when one cannot attend. I would also mention there are 3 people sitting in our crowd now who who were originally introduced on our spare tickets and liked it so much as there circumstances changed purchased a ST
Appreciate it is now set in stone now but would like a couple of supporter friendly changes to be made. 1) Ability to pass ticket on 3/4 times 2) Person ticket passed to does not have to be a member (same as guest tickets )

At what time Thursday, or even Wednesday evening, does the 'I sat next to a Chelsea fan' thread start.
I had Man City fans in front of me recently and they sat very still. Wasn't until one guy turned on his phone and I saw the Man City crest as his home page I knew. Well behaved they stayed all game, not a whisper.
Chelsea fans will be ejected within 30 seconds if they're close to me.
I can't imagine Chelsea fans are desperate to get to this one... they've got nothing to play for

Really? As it stands only top 6 get into Europe should Man Utd win the FA Cup.
When Man Utd lose the FA Cup then top 7 qualify.
As it stands (Monday afternoon)
6th Newcastle +22 - 57
7th Chelsea +12 - 57
8th Man Utd -4 - 54
Imagine Man Utd plans would be wrecked regarding any spending if they don't qualify for Europe.

2261 people don't fancy it this week/can't make it

More left than the Villa game when I was bored enough to count up the tickets, so we could be in for another slightly blue looking Amex on Wednesday

My Man U tickets sold with an hour a week ago.
I don't think it's so much as who the opposition is but the Man U game is the last game of the season. I know I lot of people who try to make the last game of the season even if that's their only match all year. Myself and Jnr have made sure we go to the last game of the season for years. Unfortunately the ticket money kitty was used up on the Europa League matches (all bought on the exchange & I had to buy one extra for each game for older junior), I don't regret it but I'll be sad to miss the last home game of the season. There's always a nice atmosphere and it's to nice give the players a proper thank you as they do their lap around the pitch.

TL,DR: The last home game of the season is always a sell out. (y)

Lot more than I thought. People really can't be arsed. Shame.
Mind you, the Villa match had better atmosphere than normal, so I'm looking forward to it!

Presumably you live in Brighton or surrounding area ? Driving up from Dorset , which is beset with roadworks around Southampton airport and ironically, near to Brighton Airport, then not getting home before 12.30 am (if lucky) and doing the breakfast show on the Thursday morning, I'll give it a miss !

Why don’t they open it on Wed at say 6.30pm, instead of leaving it this late and hoping for a full house?

Serious question . . . . Why to pensioners get concessions? The current generation of pensioners are unique in being the only ones who can afford to retire , live the same life AND go to the football . . .I don't get it.

most of us will never be able to retire regardless of how long we live, certainly not if we want to watch weapons grade soccer with seafood Bruschetta And chilled Rose at half time!

The guest tickets thing (and the club not knowing who is sitting in the seat) is definitely an anomaly, but still managed by the club.

That's different to allowing, say, 2000+ Albion fans being free to distribute their Man United or Chelsea tickets as they wish.

Honestly, can you imagine that?!

(Don't get me wrong - I wish we still had a book of tickets, to use as we wished. But, also, I can see why the club wants control too.)

Mine is on the exchange. But only because I've been able to PONCE a 1901, along with my dad who hasn't been for a couple of years.
