Brain dead MUG SHEEP
I had to read this twice. I couldn't believe it.
Theres a report in todays Times where Bruce Buck (Chelsea chairman) refused to confirm or deny whether Avram Grant would be in charge next season or not. Off the back of that article, here is one of the replies from a Chelsea fan:
What does Bruce Buck and the other boardroom patsys at Chelsea FC really know about football? Obviously not much as they got rid of Mourinho and put Grant in charge, who bless him has no tactics. The real fans BTW sit in the bleachers and pay outrageous ticket prices every week to see the most expensive side in football make a dogs dinner out of the game. What does this guy expect the fans to do? Perhaps we should start applauding at our own misery. How can the team justify scraping by. Victories to Middlesborough, Man City and the other night to Fenerbahche were not very convincing to say the least. We will never win trophies with that style of football. Not his year or any...
Clearly management has gone back to the ol' Mourniho playbook as they are out of ideas. Pity Steve Clarke who after 30 years of service is considering leaving. That says alot about the current state of affairs.
Is it worth pointing out that Chelsea sit 2nd in the Premiership just three points off the leaders, and are in the semi-finals of the Champions League again ? Or are fans like this a lost cause.
"Applauding at our own misery"
Struth.
