Cole to Man Utd is possible i think. Fergie has always been an admirer i think.
And for free...cant go wrong really.

I don't think Torres and Drogba would gel that much, but if they did work well together Chelsea would own the league!

I would rather have Torres to play in England though, another reason to watch MOTD.

barcelona?

they might get rid of zlatan

can but hope. Rumour is Villa is off on his way there though.
Can't see Torres joining Chelsea he took a pay cut to join Liverpool because he claimed to be a fan. Would expect it depends on the new owners (if they get them)

Torres is the best finisher in the world, he plays off the last defender and him and Rooney would be the sickest partnership.

I hope he doesn't go to Chelsea, I don't like them at all.

Liverpool are so stuffed financially. If they sell Torres and Gerrard then they may have a steady decline into mediocrity where they may stay for a long time. It will be very hard for them to improve without investment, and their current squad without Torres and Gerrard would struggle to get top 10.
Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Man City, Aston Villa, Everton currently all have a better squad. Fulham, Sunderland, Blackburn, Birmingham all have individual players who are better then some of the Liverpool team

£70 million would be great business for Liverpool - they badly need money to rebuild, and £70 million for a player who is injury prone would be fantastic. Not sure they'd want to sell to a rival though.

Another problem is, they'll have that useless knob Rafa spunking it on rubbish foreigners

I think Chelsea's chance of getting him just got a bit better - he won't be going to City now

I believe his Spanish strike partner holds that crown...Goes by the name of David Villa

Look at the goal scoring records of both and I'm 99% sure Torres leads the way in the past 3 years, and he has been injured through 2 of those years.

TBH i cant be bothered but im exactly the opposite in saying that i'm 99% sure Villa has a better goalscoring record. Also take into account he plays for a sometimes struggling cash strapped spanish team who dont play european football for those 3 years and havent been challenging for the title anytime lately. Also, i'm 100% sure he has a better international record than torres.

With Liverpool and now City out of the Champions League you feel Torres will move on. I expect Mourinho to lead Inter to the Champions League, then move to Real Madrid.

Smart move by Chelsea. If they get Torres early it might persuade Lampard to stay, OR if Lampard does fancy hooking up with Mourinho Chelsea will get the big bucks - £30mill plus.

You wonder whether Chelsea will take Gerrard as replacement for Lampard too.

I could see the likes of Joe Cole moving to Utd, especially as Fergie seems to be up for some big name Bosman signings having slammed greedy players.

Shh, hard to believe but some here actually RATE Rafa...

My God. Champions League winners 2005, then finalists the next season. For a team that has not won the Premier League, on a budget tighter than Man Uniteds/ Chelseas, says alot. Rafa is a great manager, hindered this season by budget cuts and one or two bad managerial decisions does not mean he is not a great manager. Mourinho had chances to win the Champs League with Chelsea, with a formidable war-chest, and failed. Man United took 9-10 years (about that?) to reclaim dibs on the European Cup the other year.

Rafa has f***ed up a bit this year with transfers, but Liverpools plight in the financial market is part to blame.
Im no Liverpool, nor Premier League fan, but if anyone says that Rafa is not a good manager must be a complete NODDY.
