When the Amex opened I bought two seats in "my name" and "my name2". The club suggested it, no talk of breaking terms and conditions and no worries about age and ID there!!

Of course, success changes that.

Most kids don't have any form of ID.

Where they do, the parents won't casually be carrying it around with them, just in case.

Doubt they'll asking any kids to prove their age. More the adults using the Senior/Junior tickets.

As a family we have three adult tickets which are shared around between mainly family members but also friends. All around me there are different people week by week. If this became enforced say with facial recognition or finger print technology we would be in trouble.

And there's the absurdity. To you and I what's the issue? However, particularly with regard to letting family friends use them you are contravening the ticketing rules. Thankfully it seems that most stewards turn a blind eye if they somehow manage to deduce that the bum on the seat is not the named ticket holder.

You would only need ID if you were trying to get in with a concession ticket. You neither look like a pensioner nor a teenager, so you wouldn't need it.
