Until the useless pricks at the FA clamps down on it (even retrospectively) it will continue.

It isn’t hard to stamp out but the useless twats won’t do it.

Post match retrospective decision making is the answer. Any player proven to fake a head injury should receive a 10 game ban.

The rule is there to save the lives and protect the health of players. Sides like villa and Fulham are endangering players safety by crying wolf on this several times a match

I’ve said the same on another thread. Completely agree. It’s disgraceful when the aim is to protect the players.
Teams like Villa and Fulham are clearly using this rule to disrupt play and it must come from the top with both teams. I’m glad we don’t have their managers at our club.

I'm actually quite proud of the fact I haven't seen it too often from our players, not to say we don't adopt such gamesmanship but it certainly doesn't seem as common

Yes, I thought that this has to be the biggest team of divers ever seen at the Albion, I don't like it. When Veltman went down in the box I could not believe how many of the Northstand we're going nuts for the penalty. It seemed a clear leave your leg behind job and fall down over someone. Can’t really blame the refs IMHO, they’re put in that position by the authorities and can’t risk ignoring the genuine injury for fear of being lambasted for that. It’s the law that’s shite. A time wasters charter.

Sorry that's crap. Refs are not managing games anymore.

Simple thing is the player is assessed by a FA Doctor/medic for head injuries not club ones.

We were on Fulham from the first minute.
The longer they hung on the more injured they got.
The more chances we missed the more injured they got.

Until finally they were presented with the opportunity we all knew they'd get - and they took it.
Winning by any means necessary.

Fortunately though we no longer play in a manner that invites wave upon wave of non scoring pressure.

Since when has the neck been a 'head injury' - which is what he stopped the game for on two of the occasions.

A neck injury can have as serious consequences as a head injury so are probably included in the referee’s advice.

If they have a head injury fake or otherwise, they should be made to go off a maximum of 15 mins, or until they are deemed fit to return.
