I thought we absolved players of their responsibility for f*** ups and blamed whoever played the ball? If Brezovan's ball was the reason Virgo got sent off, surely the Charlton player's ball that Brezovan impulsively caming running out to close down is to blame for his gaffe, not brezovan? He was only giving 110% for the team...

Brezovan - 6 -that's a generous 6. He was good, but what a CLANGER at the end.
Calderon - 8 - immense goal, solid performance
Elphick - 9 - outstanding in the absence of Virgo
El-abd - 8 - straight back in, faultless
Painter - 7 - fairly quiet, but didn't do anythign wrong.
Navarro - 8 - has probably won the doubters over by now. Our Makelele equivalent!
Dicker - 8 - spread the ball around wonderfully
Crofts - 6 - below par tonight after a good game on Saturday, didn't get involved much
Lua Lua - 8 - always a threat in midfield, great pace and trickery. Sign him up
Forster - 6 - typical lively performance

Holroyd - 7 - really got stuck in when he came on, held onto the ball surprisingly well. Encouraging.

Are you taking the f'ing piss with your Crofts mark / Comments???!!! Dicker & Crofts were awsome - Crofts didn't give the ball away once?!

Brezovan - 6 kicking was poor first half and dreadful mistake for their late goal. Always likely to throw one key clanger in to any game. Did make one blinding save just before that goal though and handling generally ok.
Calderon - 7 fantastic goal and worked hard whole game.
Elphick - 7 generally got his foot in when it mattered
El-abd - 9 considering how long it has been since he played, i thought he was brilliant
Painter - 7 very solid workmanlike performance.
Navarro - 8 absolute quality on the ball, spread the play brilliantly
Dicker - 8 - good all round performance and supported the defence really well
Crofts - 7 - very very hard working, covered a lot of ground and helped close them down
Lua Lua - 8 getting better with each game. I was a bit surprised when he was subbed
Forster - 6 not much change out of the Charlton defence but worked hard
Bennett 7 - some really good moments leading the defence a dance and took goal well

Subs:

Holroyd - 7 dead impressed with him. Beat four defenders at one point after picking up the ball in a hopeless position - if only he had looked up and squared to the unmarked Bennett! A handful with real real potential.
Hart 7 - typical hard-working performance and created the second goal.

Charlton was awful and Bennetts goal was so soft, why their keeper didn't even move for it when he only really had 1 player in front of me? I thought the keeper was going to easily save it. Brezovan had a solid game, came for every cross (kuipers would have left them and then blamed his defense) shame about the goal at the end though.

Shame about the goal! Is that all? Imagine how you would have felt it that f**k up had been an equaliser or a winner. Brezovan is a liability, and hopefully we will sign a proper keeper in the summer.

Other than that, we were excellent in all other departments and thoroughly deserved the win. 8s and 9s for all the outfield players. Coming hard on the heels of good performances against Leeds and Norwich, I am feeling we are at last getting somewhere and can't wait for the next game.

Nobody should have less than a 7 for yesterdays game, in fact i would only give Brezovan a 7 due to the f*** up at the end, everyone else gets an 8 or 9 for me, best being the 5 in Midfield. Superb

On reflection Brezovan was quite lucky. That shot in the first half was a fairly simple catch - he tried to catch it and it slipped from his hands and just went wide - lucky.

And he should've stayed on his line for their goal and they would never have scored...

and he dropped 1 in the warm up :)

Oh piss off - every time I give player ratings you call me a knob.

Today, my marks are so high, that you DARE to criticise me for giving someone who had a quiet game a 6 (an average mark).

I thought he was outshone by Dicker and Navarro.

Good grief. Get a life. Or a new hobby.

Your general negativity really gets my goat but I have to say your player ratings are normally pretty fair and IMO acurate.

Ta.

I've also been more positive in my ratings than many on here, and even the Argus.

Yet still that numpty feels the need to have a pop. It's just so tedious.

I haven't been on here because I drove from Brighton to Charlton yesterday afternoon, watched us win, then drove to Manchester, finally getting into bed at 3am. I then woke up at 6.45am to go to work, where I have been until about an hour ago. And this is meant to mean I WANT us to lose?

You sir are a massive prick - although, to be fair, I could have told you that just by looking at your avatar. Tell me, what effort do you make to support our team from TURKEY?

TCB, I thought you know me better by now but this message shows that I dont know you at all...

'Where's TCB' wasn't a dig at you. I was generally surprised by you not writing... and although I dont agree with your Kuipers marks most of the rest of the team you are pretty correct..... there are far worse than you. And I'll need to reread but I dont think I said anywhere that soemone wanted us to lose?

So thank you for the unnecessary name calling and particularly insulting comment about supporting from Turkey. Do you know how easy it is NOT to support a club out here We dont get TV or highlights.... I have to search for everything on the Albion. I have no one to talk to about the club. Without NSC I would have no one to share my passion with. Try living abroad for a while and keepign up the level of supporting you did at home and then comment. You have no idea how jealous I am that you can go to games. teh fact that I cant means that I have toı stop supporting my club? me, I will refrain from passing judgements on you... I'll stick to the keepers.

Oh and someone please tell me what makes me a prick about my avatar when I have a picture of my wife on it?

I don't think even the usual suspects are twattish enough to come on here after our best performace of the season and start dishing out their usual abuse.
