Yes, Charlie has been crap for at least two seasons.

So why does he start so often for us? He runs about a lot and huffs and puffs but what does he actually achieve other than the occasion hoof up the park. Have we really nobody better? We desperately need a skilful midfield player and soon.

:(

Unfortunately he doesn't meet the standard of football we want to play.

Problem he signed an extended contract at the start of last season.

Solution - out on loan ASAP.

I am reaaly surprised that just about everybody can see this, but our manager and his no.2... this has been bloody obvious for years... sorry Charlie, but we need someone better in midfield, and sson, or we are heading for mid-table... we really should be in the play-off positions... come on Dick... get your cheque book out... failing that, give hammond a chance...

Manchester.
The less said about apple head spud face oatway the better.

Dick knight is a **** for giving him a new and improved contract last season when the spud on legs couldn't even make the first team in our 2nd division championship winning side.

You cannot fault the bloke for effort, but he has the control of a garage door and his attempts to play one touch football make me squirm

Did he complete a single pass all game? My biggest groan of the game came when he latched on to a through ball in the box - it couldn't have been a worse player to have been in that position. True to form he completely screwed it up. Hate to say it as I always think he is one of the most passionate and always gives 100% but he needs to go - NOW

Think you're being a bit harsh on Charlie. He is not fully fit and wouldn't have been playing if we had a single left sided player not currently injured or suspended. He had a fairly poor game but didn't think he was any worse than Carpenter.

Who would you play central midfield in his place?

Being harsh on Charlie? Are you joking!

Not any worse than Carpenter? Were you watching the same game?

Who would play in his place? Anyone in the squad could make a better go of it.
