was just about to say the same thing. its appauling that they were allowed to get away with that, should have been a red for the kick at hammond and 2 yellows for the dives. not a penalty and a red for us :censored: dirty diving inbreds

Thought it was Kitson who dived to get Elphick sent off?

Either way we were done twice by the Copperheaded tossers.

It rekindled my anger towards the result & referee:censored:

Justified calls for a very poor referee who cost us heavily

I read somewhere if you complain enough on the internet the ref will change his decision, will give both kitson and sidwell red cards and we'll play the remaining half an hour again with Reading having nine men :shootself

Also add to that the two dives by Doyle and Convey in our area when they did not get penalties when they should have been booked for diving and the Ingimarsson incident in the first half when he swung an arm at one of our players before a free kick.

At 1-0 the game was still alive but the referee ruined it.

The ref was far too easily intimidated by Reading (although I can't imagine why). He just made all the easy decisions and dodged anything that would upset the home support.

Very poor decision but when you are the form team you get decisions that go your way.

We used to when we were up there winning Championships.

Kitson is a tosser - he got Elphick sent off (he didn't touch him) and then dived for the pen (again, nobody made contact). He is a f*cking cheat - no wonder McGhee was fuming on SCR.

Must admit I found meself rolling my eyes last night when I heard McGhee complaining about the ref - but having seen it now, I have to say his grizzles are certainly justified. The sending off AND the pen were both f***ing CRAP decisions, and turned a difficult task into an impossible one.

It's obviously no coincidence that, prior to this game, we hadn't lost when he was reffing - and all those games were at home!

Perhaps we should request he refs all our remaining games at Withdean?

Confirmed what I saw with my eyes yesterday.

Fair report in the Sunday Times, including "Kitson gleefully blasted the ball home, but the gamesmanship surrounding the incident took the shine off his subsequent hat-trick".
