You really are a mouthy pillock, perhaps read the quote below, and the article it came from.

The truth will out, but all because the biased UK media are scared to criticise Merseyside football fans these days, does not mean that they alone tell the real story. Time will tell.

“More than two-thirds of the tickets presented by some 62,000 Liverpool supporters had been fakes, the minister added.”

And YOU really misread things…!!! Go back and try again, with the understanding I was merely alluding to all the anti scousers that the RM fans said same. Obviously it was too subtle and went over your head…:lolol:

It's looking more and more like a monumental cock up by the French, and the very suggestion that some 40,000 fans travelled with (or purchased over there) counterfeit tickets from dubious sources, is utterly absurd.
As has been said, it's far more likely that their systems were recording failed attempts at scanning as 'fakes' - or, it's simply a load of bollocks, to avoid culpability.
Of course, at any large event such as this, there will always be a small proportion of people trying to blag their way in, and that applies to both sets of fans, as well as the locals, who have also been implicated.
I hope the independent investigation is thorough and apportions blame where it is actually due.

This. Can’t wait for this evenings news to see what new story (lie) the French authorities are going to spin this time - has Brexit been blamed yet, or have they still got that one in reserve.

Shambles absolute shambles. Boy do they look stupid in the eyes of the world and rightly so.

Sorry just reread and think you did get the jist. I just can’t believe you got so angry in response because RM have said same as Reds and our Press (plus all the other neutral observers saying same thing)

Blimey, you must really hate Scousers to want to blame them despite all the evidence to the contrary - someone nick your hubcaps near Anfield?! :lolol:

French have been honing this heavy-handedness towards the English since the Harrying of the North.

…..and the Jocks. I went to a WCQ in Paris in 1989, instead of some signs/announcements telling us we had all passed the point that we were no longer allowed to drink alcohol (those little bottles of beer) the French old bill just chose to knock them out of peoples hands with batons, the Scotland fans were quite well behaved considering women and kids were hit with batons and/or broken glass.

Having said that, I was also at Sweden v ROI in the 2016 Euros at the stadium in question and the French old bill were invisible.

Fully expecting carnage in Munich next week for the England Germany game. Police tactics changed for the worse no doubt - and the Germans are normally pretty good.

Coupled with 7500 fans applying for 2500 tickets, and the ballot only being conducted 2 weeks ago, so most will have booked travel and be going regardless. Also plenty of England in the home ends.

Good luck everyone

So the truth is beginning to emerge.

There's great merit in holding your gob and waiting for it to arrive.

Still in Brighton
Not sure if it's been mentioned already but it's been well known for years that "romantic" Paris is a fallacy. Paris has many ghettos and no go zones and thousands of poor and disadvantaged people shoved out in the outer districts. It's not a great surprise that gangs of youths from this group have decided to go en masse to this event to steal. I've enjoyed trips to Paris but you have to have your wits about you. Not that these fans of Real and Liverpool have any blame attached but I agree with the lad at the end of the video, I wouldn't be interested in a trip to the Paris Olympics. Be interesting how they police that one!

I fail to see how the French can hold any major sporting event especially football ever again. Policing safety comunication coordination unfit shambles. If UEFA allow another final like this again in France then their apology is an insult. I would like tye English and Spanish government to hold Macron and his idiots to account. The french MUST pay for this and heavily. Its criminal.
