I dunno. With a team of so many young players, many of them living abroad and themselves relative unknowns, and playing in a league where it’s not beyond the realms of possibility they have to pinch themselves every now and then about the fact they are lining up against genuine world class superstars they’ve probably idolised (and Palace) then I can see there being merit in less “you belong in this league, you’re great” messaging and more messaging that acknowledges the underdog and outsider status and feeds into that a little bit.

We've done the double over United, beaten City and Spurs, gone toe-to-toe with Arsenal who failed to beat us despite leading in both games, and dumped Chelsea out of the Cup.

I'd say we've successfully challenged and royally pissed off The Establishment this season. Just imagine if we could do it against the DREGS as well.
