Catering improved

I think their improved service (quicker service) will be achieved by reducing the number of products and pricing as many at the same price to make it simple. Removing Kronenbourg from sale and hiking the prices of all beers to one price just below the £4 mark in the hope that some idiots might still buy it.

I'd say this is it, a reduced range with the same amount of pumps means more products can be pre poured. Also less things on the tills, both of these even with the incompetencies of last year added to the people who have vowed to not use the facilities equals quicker service for the people who choose to use the concourse bars.

What can possibly improve on this?????

I put 100 quid on my card at the start of last season and haven't put anything on it this year. If they have made the increases they seem to have done my business will go elsewhere or I will just save a few quid as well as a few pounds. Real shame as they were on to a good number and I hope they don't alienate the fans.

I guess the improvements mean faster service, but that'll only be because many people will now snub The Amex and it's whopping price hikes in favour of The Hikers Rest or The Swan or even pubs in town now before and after the match.

Yep the cnuts at Azure are getting no more off of me,the swan or the hikers from now on

so bit by bit, starting with the one-match trial of noodles and now the likely removal of the only decent lager, Azure have stripped back the service offer to something that relies almost entirely on a third party pie company and a local ale producer. so what exactly do Azure bring to the table? because it's certainly not quality food or service.

take note Insider, the club was promising much more from the catering than this. and the fans know it.

Now confirmed in ATC that Kronenburg is not available anywhere apart from 1901, Dick's or East Stand Brasserie.

In other words, NOT in WSU, WSL, North, East etc....

Personally I'm really disappointed - and won't be spending my money at the stadium any more.

We were promised above average catering at The Amex, in both Quality and Choice.

Both have now gone out of the window.

You and everyone else. They've stopped serving Kronenbourg because hardly anyone was buying it.

Incidentally, is Fosters really going to be £4.20?

So hardly anyone was buying it - yet it will continue to be served in Dick's 1901 etc -that makes no sense.

£4.20 - no idea - I'll have a look tomorrow, but I won't be buying it.

Poor show by Azure/Club IMO

£3.90 I think.

But I disagree with the hardly anyone was buying it, almost every time i tried to buy it, it either wasn't poured, was frothing up or not available so I had something else.

I always got Kronenbourg, and most people being served when I was at the Kiosk were ordering it too when I went up.

And £4.20 for gnat's piss is a bit steep. Looks like I'll only be drinking in Dick's or East Stand Brasserie from now on.

I'm not buying programmes or hat trick tickets this season just to offset the extra price of a pie and pint. Even then I'm cutting back due to the expense.

When I say 'hardly anyone', I mean in comparison to Foster's. But actually, it's a consideration that does make some sense; Dick's / ESB and hospitality are used almost every day - the concourses aren't.

You said the 'other lager' (Foster's) had gone up 16%. That would put it at £4.20.

That may be true but as I've said before, given the issues of availability and queues, I really don't see how Azure could have any meaningful statistics regarding actual levels of demand.

I probably bought more Harveys and smalls bottles of Fosters last season than cider as they were easier to get hold of.

True.

Many a time didn't bother to queue, especially at or before half time, when we wanted refreshments.

Dont be quick to blame Azure on the changes ,the dynamic of the deal has changed over the summer Albion have a tighter grip on the catering and have taken away many of Azures responsibilities

That's exactly what I meant, I've forgotten the amount of times I said "Oh just give me a Fosters then"
