I am no lawyer. But can't they just boot him out with no settlement for Breach of Contract?:tosser:
If it were any other club, that cared about money, they'd sell him, as that would end the contract and bring in cash. Man City don't need it though.

I'd like to think that I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised by his appalling behaviour (what with the level of greed & immorality in our football now), but this has actually shocked me.

The bloke's an absolute disgrace.

This. if it is possible. With the money City have they can afford to do it. I just hope it is not something he can subsequently sue them for and get his lost wages back.

Utter disgrace.

Cant believe he could sue them back surely?

Oh, I think he probably could, I mean after all, it was only "a misunderstanding" He was all warmed up ready to go on, doing his final stretches......

He`s not stupid he wants them to sack him, he can then move on as free agent without a ridiculous price tag around his neck

who would come near him, he seems to get the hump every couple of years.

There was a thread here recently about Jimmy Bullard getting sacked, and how and why that would prove problematical. Does this fall into the same area? How can you sack a footballer.

Nice to see that lovely Gordon Taylor talk awkwardly about the need for supremely good mediation, though!!

Tevez is a disgrace. Happy to take £230k per week plus image rights and bonuses in return for no commitment to his employer, team mates and fans.

Wouldn't sack him as thats just what he want - suspect he is hoping to engineer an exit from Man C by breaking his contract and getting the sack. I hope City make him honour his contract but keep him away from the dressing room. Someone has to stand up to player power. These people have lost touch with reality. So much for the street urchin from Argentinian slums - clearly he is not hungry enough these days.

I also suspect that Tevez's agent has a hand in this mess.

Probably working!
A lifetime ban from all professional football would just about be sufficient.
Also he should be made to re-imburse all the city fans who travelled to germany, although I don't believe either will happen.
