Didn’t like his performance for me .

Yes he broke up play first half quite well but 2nd half looked like was hiding . Didn’t want to receive the ball facing our goal so instead positioned himself badly so wouldn’t have to .
That’s why Lallana came on and thank god he did . He did balebas job more in his time on the pitch than baleba did .

Baleba best when driving . As the pivot player he is no where near ready for that

Midfield in summer needs addressing more
Think that is incredbily harsh. Thought he was very good, MOTM and comfortably his best game for the Albion.

I think stronger on the ball, better going forward, passing wise from a range perspective, perhaps not quite as good, but a better tackler….

You’re right though, perhaps they could work together and free up Pascal.
I want to see Gilmour and Baleba starting together in CM, with Pascal further up (either as 10 or wide right).
Bart in goal for the rest of the season too.

He was my MotM today but I get that he still has a lot of learning to be done.

However, the potential is obvious. The when he is Mac’s age, he’ll be top level. Without a doubt.

Happy to watch him learn and develop with us over the next few years. The good news is that no one will who wants him can afford him for the foreseeable so he is our boy for the next few years.

Definite MoM today, but still naive at times and needs to work on his decision making.

Then again, that's why he's signed for us and not been snapped up by Chelsea as part of their plan to sign every full international aged under 21 years on the planet.

A good game to-day, and deserves a run in the team to develop further, but will RDZ give him that.

I doubt that he will, as focus will be on securing a European place, therefore unless either are injured Gross/Gilmour will start as pair.

Best he is likely to get for the rest of the season is 15 minutes or so from the bench.

However, I expect him to feature more next season, particularly when (or if) we are playing three games a week.

I think he may play the 3, Baleba, Gilmour and Gross in front (Moder on the bench).

He seems to get better each game and deserves more game time. He’s very skilful but he’s also a bit of a bulldozer which is what we need in midfield. Exciting prospect for next season. For the gamblers on here, he’s usually a dead cert for a yellow card in your ‘build a bet’!
