I reckon he can work well with Gilmour. A more exciting player, definitely.Outstanding. Probably unpopular but I prefer him to Gilmour…..
I think stronger on the ball, better going forward, passing wise from a range perspective, perhaps not quite as good, but a better tackler….I reckon he can work well with Gilmour. A more exciting player, definitely.
Think that is incredbily harsh. Thought he was very good, MOTM and comfortably his best game for the Albion.Didn’t like his performance for me .
Yes he broke up play first half quite well but 2nd half looked like was hiding . Didn’t want to receive the ball facing our goal so instead positioned himself badly so wouldn’t have to .
That’s why Lallana came on and thank god he did . He did balebas job more in his time on the pitch than baleba did .
Baleba best when driving . As the pivot player he is no where near ready for that
Midfield in summer needs addressing more
I want to see Gilmour and Baleba starting together in CM, with Pascal further up (either as 10 or wide right).I think stronger on the ball, better going forward, passing wise from a range perspective, perhaps not quite as good, but a better tackler….
You’re right though, perhaps they could work together and free up Pascal.
Both together pleaseOutstanding. Probably unpopular but I prefer him to Gilmour…..
I think he may play the 3, Baleba, Gilmour and Gross in front (Moder on the bench).A good game to-day, and deserves a run in the team to develop further, but will RDZ give him that.
I doubt that he will, as focus will be on securing a European place, therefore unless either are injured Gross/Gilmour will start as pair.
Best he is likely to get for the rest of the season is 15 minutes or so from the bench.
However, I expect him to feature more next season, particularly when (or if) we are playing three games a week.
And those two key aspects will only be improved upon with increased game time.Definite MoM today, but still naive at times and needs to work on his decision making.
