I think he’s probably our top target but from what I’ve seen we have other options including Lucas Gourna.
I expect we are pushing to get the deal done but won’t be held to ransom on price if we can get Lucas G for not much more.
Baleba certainly doesn’t seem to be the finished article but I expect we’ll integrate him into the team over the season if we can get him in.

We need to establish a disinformation campaign on NSC by starting threads on non-existent players to throw off other clubs.

Knock up a few Wikipedia pages and create some smoke and mirrors.

Just checked his wiki and he sounds good. Hopefully, we're following with the headlights off.

He’s rejected Forest. All down to club to club negotiations.
Plenty of unreliable and dubious sources are saying he wants to come here (unlike other players I could mention). So I guess we just need to do a deal with Lille.

We’ll probably be paying double what we’d ideally like with the eyes of the world on us so that extra few million we got from Chelsea (£25m from when @lennyrider threw in the towel and told Tony to just take the money) will come in very useful.

Seeing on Twitter that Sevilla and Fiorentina are both looking at Alzate for €8m. You’d like to think this is a sign that we have secured Baleba?
He played 2 mins for Lille yesterday as an injury time sub having regularly been starting.
€8m for Alzate seems a decent fee as we paid Leyton Orient something like £200k from memory.

If he'd added seeing on Twitter that the Telegraph are reporting Fiorentina and Sevilla are interested, would that be better?

Not really.
