Out of interest Bluebird, if "England is so full of shit" as you lot have a habit of singing all the f***ing time, why don't you learn your own language?

Personally, as my father is English and my mother is half English, I never sing about England being full of shit. I've always thought it somewhat hypocritical for Cardiff fans to sing any anti-English songs when half of our squad and our manager are invariably English.

As for speaking what you describe as my own language, perhaps you might like to do a little research into the history of Welsh before you start waxing lyrical about it. Should you care to do so, you will find that the English were largely responsible for the death of the language in many parts of Wales.

I don't want to get too heavily into any of that. I don't know enough about the subject and I don't really care either to be honest. It all happened so long ago that it is now largely irrelevant as far as I'm concerned. The primary language in Britain is English. I'm British, and proud of it, so I speak English. Just like the majority of Welshmen. And Scotsmen. And Irishmen.

Fair doos. It always tickled me that the perennial song from Cardiff fans was anti-English when so many of the players and staff were English themselves. Good to hear you're not joining in :lolol:

Oh come on LB - that is very, very weak. Something that has constantly amazed me about racists at football is that it always seems to be a case of "our blacks are OK, it's just the rest".

Fair enough. Logic plays no part in racism anyway I suppose. But I can only speak from experience. I travel away with the City on a very regular basis, and have been doing so for 30 years. During that time I've encountered all sorts of abysmal behaviour from Cardiff fans, but I haven't heard any racist abuse for many years now and it's something I'm particularly sensitive to given my own ethnic background (my grandmother was Indian).

I did hear of an incident at Brentford a few years back when one of our 'supporters' allegedly shouted racist abuse at Leo Fortune-West. He was given a kicking by all accounts.

So you choose to believe this incident happened and not the one I heard? And you accuse me of talking shit?

I'll ask you once again; were you at the match Tuesday night? If not, how dare you accuse me of making it up. If you were there and didn't hear anything then I could understand your reaction but it sounds to me as if you weren't and you just can't accept that it happened.
