You should get your f***ing ears cleaned out mate.

Do you honestly think that racism would be tolerated within a set of supporters that idolises the likes of Sam Hammam, Danny Gabbidon and Robert Earnshaw?

I follow CCFC all over the country, week in week out, and I hear all sorts of abuse being dished out to all sorts people on a regular basis, but I haven't heard any racism for many years. Which is hardly surprising given the set-up at our club.

Don't tell me - you heard racist abuse being screamed from this mystery coach as it had it's windows put in by the Brighton Headhunters.....

I think we'll file this one under 'F' for fiction.

The shouts came from the away section in the ground. They were heard not just by me but by several people around me in C Block who also commented on them. As I said, maybe it was just one arsehole but it was crystal clear which is why I was surprised that nothing was done. We are not without our racist element at Brighton and some very distasteful things have been shouted at players recently, notably the Korean guy playing for Wolves, but please don't try and tell me there are no racists amonst CCFC's supporters. I am not having a go at your team just commenting on an incident. Were you at the match?

For the record, I have nothing against Cardif or the Welsh in general. My Sister-in-law is from Maesteg and many of my best friends are from the Valleys. Just because you don't like what I've said don't accuse me of lying.

Yes but LB....If I called a Cardiff Player a useless twat ( which I did frequently to Campbell, who i thought was very poor when he came on) it would be accepted, however if I called him a useless Welsh Twat ( even though he is not Welsh...but you know what i mean) then the PC brigade get all hoity toity about it.

To me, the Welsh / English thing is harmless. No doubt Brighton get called 'Southern twats' when you're playing up north. So what's the difference?

I don't consider 'regional' abuse offensive. However, abuse over the colour of your skin certainly is offensive. And it is not an issue within Cardiff's support - hasn't been for many years.

By the way, you're looking for a striker - you can have Campbell for nothing if you like. I'll personally pay his travelling expenses.

Tell you what, you ignore everything I say and I'll ignore everything you say. That'll be the best way to deal with this. Because you're really winding me up. And you're talking shit.

In 2001 there was some weird shit being sung at us and it was not in English.

Was Fan Zhiyi playing for us that day? Perhaps there was a large contingent of Chinese fans present. Or maybe a section of the crowd were singing in Lebanese in honour of Sam Hammam?

Weird shit being sung at you that wasn't in English? Had you been drinking?

Thanks for the offer mate, but I think we will decline on this one....having said that if Crewe offered us the long haired forward I would bite their hands off!!

I totally agree with what you said about North South etc, but tecnically ( and I am splitting hairs here) the racism thing is where someone is abused from where he comes from, not necessarily the colour of his skin. It was used as an argument above re the Korean guy, who is a white as you or me......I must admit I did shout out something which I thought humerous at the time..." I'll have a number 35" or something like that, and if it offended anyone I apologise, it was not meant as an insult, more a whittisism. PS I clapped him when he went off as I thought he was a class player......the people in F and G block certainly gave him some stick and the gestures made towards him were far more insulting than what I said.

Ok, believe what you want to but I don't understand why you're taking it all so personaly. You support Cardif but are clearly not racist and I believe you if you tell me most Cardif supporters aren't. If you can't accept that at least one of your supporters is racist and that they abused Leon Knight on Tuesday night then there's nothing I can do to convince you, but why reduce the argument to being abusive yourself?

Have scannd this thread having missed out on all the fun. Had a look around the 'hoolie' boards and they seem to say roughly the same as was said on here reegarding the glasses etc.

However, the most telling comment came from TLB who said the Valley RAMS are a supporters club who like to shun the 'pop and crisps' and prefer a beer in nearby pubs. Sounds very similar to our A21 club IMHO, in which case seems a bit naughty having a pop at them.

We had indulged in a few pints of Brains that day, but I know there was stuff being sung in Welsh that day.

Nope, they boys in the hotel knew the coach was coming, someone must have tipped them off which adds weight to the argument about a car following the coach (although I don't believe that to be completely true). It's all bollocks anyway, nothing really happened.

I think the reality was no real harm was done. A few glasses were lobbed but nothing else. The worry is that when we go to Cardiff in February the locals will be looking to return the favour and a number of our protagonists will not travel there, as was the case last time, leaving the everyday supporters to take the flack.

I can 100% guarantee you that there were no songs being sung at you in Welsh. That's on account of the fact that WE HAVE NO SONGS THAT ARE SUNG IN WELSH. Never have had.

We do 'hum' a version of 'Men Of Harlech', but not in Welsh. The lyrics to that are:

Durr durr durr durr durr durr (clap clap),
Durr durr durr durr durr durr (clap clap),
Durr durr durr, de durr de durr de durr,
De durr de durr de durr de durr durr durr durr (clap clap)
Durr durr durr durr durr durr durr durr
Durr de durr de durr durr durr durr durr durr durr
Durr de durr de durr durr durr durr durr durr durr de durr.

Took us months to write that one. But it's not in Welsh.

That may have been the case if this alleged 'incident' had been reported on our websites, but it hasn't. Which leads me to believe that it either didn't happen at all or was very minor in nature.

Out of interest Bluebird, if "England is so full of shit" as you lot have a habit of singing all the f***ing time, why don't you learn your own language?

Oh come on LB - that is very, very weak. Something that has constantly amazed me about racists at football is that it always seems to be a case of "our blacks are OK, it's just the rest".

I can't pretend to understand the logic in it, but it very nearly always seems to be the case. As others have pointed out - an Albion fan shouted at least one racist comment at the black referee we had at Crewe on Saturday. But I bet he doesn't have a problem with Leon Knight (or no more than the rest of us anyway!) and I bet he was a big fan of Bobby Zamora.
