Did the daughter set the old boy walking in order to set up an exploitative scam right from the off? Or did she see him starting to do his thing and think “ooh we can scam a fair bit for ourselves here, keep walking dear”? I guess we won’t know for sure but the documentary didn’t shed much light on that.

I’d be pretty confident he was ‘coerced’ into it , she was an experienced PR professional so it all fitted together quite nicely

I've posted this already on this thread but it bears repeating.

There is a *very slight chance* that is taken out of context (she may argue that 'it inspired me to change my way of thinking' or something), but it certainly appears well dodge – and very honest/upfront!

It wouldn’t surprise me. Today Club Nook went broke. Well, I guess if you keep taking money out of something and don’t put anything back it would do. Poor old fella must be turning in his grave.
