[Albion] Can we talk about Sanchez ?

The thought occurs that RDZ has an Alex Ferguson sort of thing going on.

The squad would run through walls for Ferguson but anybody who was distracted or made waves got shipped out sharpish. No messing. Even Beckham.

Sound familiar?
The 'guv'nor' is another that springs to mind. And their level of tomfoolery was nothing compared with Tossard and (now) Sanchez.

Frankly, watching Jason Steele . . . .the confidence, the distribution and (yes, as we saw last night) the shot stopping are different class.

Exactly.

RDZ said tonight that he loved the way TB gave him the trust to deal with two dressing room situations with no interference. Brilliant management in their respective roles.

Why not just turn up, get paid to sit on the bench, celebrate with your mates and then feck off in a week’s time to bench warm elsewhere on more money and with less chance to break into first team.
From what we know of RDZ, I’m guessing Sanchez is not allowed anywhere near the squad. You’re in or you’re out. No room for troublemaking.

Going out for a very public dinner while we’re playing & not watching the game seems like an intentional move by him to bring attention to what’s going on, and stir things up more. Silly boy.
Yes.

However, in the stands or on the bench, missing last night really was his loss.

Ego.

Bigger than him it would seem.

Shame, as there's a cracking player in there who will be held back by if he's too arrogant to accept (and work on) his areas of weakness.

Him and Ben Roberts must've had something pretty special going on before.

He'll regret missing the scenes later in life, that's for sure. What a tit.

100% trust from Tony in RdeZ……..in turn meaning RdeZ trusts Tony. Exactly how it should be done - imagine it’s the Sanchez and Trossard situations he’s talking about. Really great to see the NDP seems to be stronger than ever.

Hope things turn out well for Big Bob, but pretty pisspoor behaviour on his part.

Dunno where that is, but it looks like a bit of a shithole.

Dare I suggest, that had we played Steele in goal for the semi-final at Wembley, I have no doubts we would playing there again a week Saturday.

We're in quite a different position to Utd though. We can manage without Sanchez, but we can't afford to fall out with other players and lose them when they strop, because we're not as big as Utd.

If he was on the bench supporting his teammates, then he wouldn't be trouble-making. He should be fighting to get in the team. We've also got some extra games next season, so there's scope for him to play and improve.

Some footballers and their egos. I think it’s a sad way for it all to end but the club always comes first. Sanchez is a silly boy

Sanchez did make some good saves in that game, we don't know that Steele would have.

I think you might be giving Sanchez too much credit, he doesn’t come across as being a Mensa candidate.

He’s clearly got an ego, he’s one of the very few players who turns up on match day in a ‘super car’, most of the other players are in fairly understated motors and leave the £200k mobiles at home, not Bob.
