[Albion] Can we talk about Sanchez ?

He's annoyed that the Albion will ask a lot and he thinks he should go for about £25m. And that this will block the move he wants (Chelsea). Heard him say it himself.
Rather than the fact that Chelsea wouldn't want to sign anyone who refuses to be on the bench, don't need a keeper, don't have money to spend and don't want him

Confirmed by my own ears that there has been a massive falling out between player and manager. Player wants a move to Chelsea but fears being over priced. Only typing this after trying to find out if i can put a tenner on Sanchez to Chelsea but couldn't find any details on the websites to do so. Probably get shite odds anyway but was worth a look. Shame really as Sanchez has been crucial to our success last season and for a big chunk of this. It does happen that players and managers make up... but after hearing what said player was saying about him I very much doubt it!
Just to clarify:

Does he want the move to Chelsea now he's not number one and has fallen out with De Zerbi or is it the cause of the falling out?

No idea, I didn't pipe up while sitting next to him trying to earwig while pretending to maintain a conversation with my companion (we were there first by the way). I'd never make a good spy. He was proper moody but it was obvious that in his own head he feels hard done by. What surprised me most was the person he was talking to didn't seem to make much effort to support another view ie - stay focused, address the issues on the pitch/training ground, put on a front, push for a move at season end. Shame because last season and for most of this he has played really well and loved by the fans. I guess if you face no longer fits that's it.

Footballers are usually seemingly surrounded by sycophants, wouldn’t be surprised……

As well as the Chelsea links, there’s another club showing interest. Real Madrid have him on their list to warm their bench next season.

It was a short few months ago when he was being valued on here at £50m.

If his toys are going to be permanently outside of his pram, what would you take for him now?
£50m?

I wouldn't be completely surprised to see him replace Raya at Brentford.

For me that depends on how much they get for Raya and whether that's enough to meet our valuation for Bob AND enough profit to keep fuelling their model.

The rumoured £40m Raya to Spurs transfer would suggest not.

I'm guessing the news that Big Bob doesn't do bench warming hasn't made it over to Spain yet

They’ve got a replacement lined up already- Mark Flekken from Freiburg.

That would make him the fourth most expensive keeper transfer of all-time.

He is an average Premier League keeper for me. I can think of a few better. I rate Neto at Bournemouth, although he is much older.

Downing tools has gone well, dropped from Spain squad
Well this is all going well for the player 🙁

Pretty sure he'll bounce back into Spanish squad contention somewhere else tho. Tho he'll probably never lose that weird Thousand Yard Stare, which will always be a worry

Got a friend who lives in the same well known road that Sanchez lives in , she’s bumped into him & says he’s very full of himself .
