Don’t tell me ….. Fabrizio Romano’s exclusively revealed that a top 6 club may be preparing an unreasonably very low and likely successful bid for Sanchez.

It’s so ****ing tedious. Selling! It’s our model! If they want him, he’s gone! Please - twitter, Fabio, every other ****ing pundit. **** OFF.
Our CFO literally says that player trading is part of our business model..
Jones, the club’s finance director, told The Athletic: “While we have not really sold any players in the past, going forward, to reduce the deficit, clearly, player trading needs to be part of the business.”

The club should get whatever it can for Sanchez - and then try and gazump Southampton and get Gavin Bazunu - the kid is already an incredible goalkeeper and is only going to get better
He could be a very good keeper, yes, and the rumoured price is a bargain, but Sanchez, is better, at least for now.
Much as I'm sure it must disappoint you, we don't HAVE to base all of our recruitment on Irish players.

Writes the poster who clearly has no idea the Albion have spent the last 3 seasons hoovering up young keepers like they are centre backs.
Gone for 12 million. Bargain. But we’ve got plenty of good keepers here
Why would the Albion do that?Don;t care who Brighton have as a goalie - none of them will come remotely close to what Bazunu is capable of developing into (and how good he is now). There is a reason that Man City put a by-back clause in the contract. This kid will, injuries permitting, by one of the top goalies in the world for the next 15/20 years.
And by the way - the same applies to the likes of Nathan Collins who has shown so much development in the last six months that this will probably be the last chance to snap him up at a bargain price (which will probably be about £20m).

They have a young Dutch international keeper as backup.
Who in turn has the England under 21 keeper backing him up.
Who in turn has the England under 18 keeper backing him up.
Selling a £50m+ keeper in order to buy a £20m keeper who stunts the development of 3 free (ish) keepers is the logic of someone who doesn't have a clue.
You do realise that Bazunu has been at Man City for the past 4 years and you are aware of what Man City goalkeepers are expected to do. - Bazunu played the role you are talking about at Man City in their underage teams - and at Rochdale and Portsmouth while on loan (it was a stipulation of the loan agreements). Southampton got Bazunu for a bargain because Ederson is only 27 - if they held onto Bazunu he would have walked at the end of his contract. Instead they made £10m profit and inserted a buyback clause just in case anything happens to Ederson.I’ve heard that Bazunu has a world class save in him or two. However, unlike Southampton, we don’t concede that many shots against us. I’d be shocked if the Bazunu had anything like the long and short passing game of Sanchez. That ping to Cucu in the Manure game was something that Ederson would have been proud of. We need an Ederson style keeper who is playing a lot in the sweeper position. That’s why Southampton only paid £12m and Sanchez is worth at least quadruple that.
Thanks for underlining the fact you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. The chances of any of the three goalkeepers you mention becoming a top PL goalkeeper are very slim - its the nature of underage football. Bazunu is 20 years old (2 years younger than the Dutch keeper you mention) and is already going to be a starting keeper. Sanchez will be gone before too long (probably for big money) - and the club will then have to find a replacement ( and it will be very unlikely it will be one of the 3 you mention) - Bazunu could have been that keeper - he could have been bought for a bargin basement prive and sold for a huge fee in 3/4 years time.
I assume with all these brilliant Irish players I should stick a cheeky tenner on them for the World Cup?
