Firstly, thanks to all the efforts from everyone on NSC and the Mailing List from all at the club:

The following action has now taken place:

1. On Weds evening 92 clubs were contacted by the club asking them to place the Dick Knight Plea Press Release on their sites.

2. Members of NSC and the Mailing List have also emailed the following clubs' unofficial sites and local media, and the managers of those clubs asking them to write (any action already taken is noted:

Arsenal
AFC Bournemouth
Bradford - on official site
Bristol City
Bristol Rovers
Charlton - in their programme for match with Spurs next Weds
Chelsea
Colchester
Crystal Palace
Doncaster
Gillingham
Halifax
Huddersfield
Hull City - Peter Taylor (legend) is writing to Prescott, and offered to speak to all his local media people about this. He is also going to mention it in his next programme notes and there will be coverage on City site soon asking for letters to Prescott.
Leicester City - Micky Adams and Alan Cork are writing to Prescott
Luton
Millwall
Newcastle
Norwich - Neil Doncaster their Chief Exec has written personally to JP
Oldham - On their official site
Oxford
Peterborough - On their official site, with great quote from Barry Fry
Plymouth - On Pasoti Website
Portsmouth
Reading - Steve Coppell called Matt Hicks to find out what was going on and offer support. He is going to write a letter to Prescott and Andy West (press man at Reading) is going to publicise this on their website in order to get Royals fans writing.
Rochdale
Southampton - Mark McGhee is asking Gordon Strachan to write to Prescott
Stockport - On official site
Swindon
Torquay
Wigan

3. National/local media assistance has come from:

Argus - have been brilliant, and once again proved when the chips are down, the club can really rely on them. Great front page by Adam Trimmingham, excellent piece by Steve Rogers, and good support from Andy Naylor and editor Simon Bradshaw. Thanks guys.

Andy Steggall at Meridian - Andy is a great supporter of everything we try to do at Brighton, and did a piece last night. They are running a follow up piece tonight urging people to write to Prescott. Andy is also going to give as much coverage possible to the protest on Saturday. Cheers to Stegs.

Sky - Also superb. Thanks to them. They had Dick on SSNews yesterday morning urging fans to write to prescott. Also sent a camera for a news piece, which has been running last night and today.

Southern Counties/Southern FM - have been tops too. Paul Hayward has been on BBC SCR today talking about the importance of Falmer. Ian Hart is also going to devote the show/phone in to this issue.

Soccer AM - Helen Chamberlain is going to plug the campaign tomorrow and in her Sunday Star column.

BBC South - Piece going to be recorded for tonight with Martin Perry, plus coverage of Demo for Monday's news.

Times - in today, thanks to Nick Szczepanik.

4. Wycombe Demo

Players will wear Stadium Yes t-shirts for warm up - and display banner pre- and post-match.

Fans need to hold up A3/A4 posters - these will be available to download from the club site shortly. I also believe fans will be distributing at Adams Park. If you can take some spares for others.

Demo takes place after the match. The players will be involved in some way.

Sky, BBC and Meridian are all likely to send a camera and reporter to cover this. Radio 5 also likely to have coverage.

5. Flowers Protest...

This is covered elsewhere, so I won't go in to details.

6. Other stuff...

Thanks to Nathan Jones, Bobby Zamora is writing a letter to JP and we will get a photo for publicity purposes of Bobby holding the letter.

Thanks to Kerry Mayo, Robbie Reinelt will be doing a letter and is willing to do any press if required for the nationals (along the lines of the man who saved Albion from extinction is urgin Prescott to do the same...)

I should add, nobody should be in any doubt, everyone associated with the Albion (fans, players, manager, ex-players, ex-managers, staff, directors) is pulling together on this.

This is even better than the campaigns 95-97, because the club are right behind it.

Also, one other point the following businesses have sent a pro-forma out on their internal email - do the same if you can:

Norwich Union, Worthing
Body Shop HQ, L'ton

Anyone in a position to do AMEX, Revnue Offices and any other big Sussex employers?

On NSC for over two decades...
Wow, it's nice to be a small part of such a massive effort. It is just a pity I won't be at the game tomorrow to see the fruits of our plans. But perhaps it'll be more telling to see what coverage we get as a result, particularly as I'm not local so-to-speak.
