Cameron v Miliband v Clegg: the official Question Time match thread

I'm not saying I 100% believe Ed, but at least he actually addressed the question of what would happen if he doesn't win a majority and would be forced to deal with SNP. Cameron completely dodged it.
But is more than happy to stay in the EU, BIG mistake

Cameron did very well, leaving his bedfellow options open and room to blame policy U turns on such. I'm still going to see him as the Dave Whelan of politics after yet another repetition.

How do you seriously expect someone to answer that coalition question. He has no idea what the MP numbers will be and who he might have to talk to, and each person is different. It really is a red herring to try to get them to hypothesize about their plans in one of the many different possible electoral outcomes.

Let them talk about their actual policies, not this can of worms.

He seems to have narrowed from being second favourite to becoming second favourite:

I'm not suggesting that there's been a change in favouritism as, quite clearly, there hasn't. I was merely indicating that over the course of that programme movement in the market was to shorten the odds for Cameron.

Would he have been paid to attend though ? he is a member of the EU Fisheries Committee but does not turn up despite claiming to "fight " for British fishermen's right's.

Poor all round IMO... Cameron still has no legitimate or credible answer to the food bank/bedroom tax/general inequality questions whilst Miliband struggled with the audience, Clegg uninspiring as ever....

Why should labour be the next government?

Under the Tories we have a £500 B + National Infrastructure Plan; reformed patent laws to protect UK innovation;granted money to innovative companies like Reaction Engines; huge support for the UK automotive and Aerospace industries;gave the go-ahead for the Francis Crick Institute (one of europe's leading science led research institutes);built the two QE Class Aircraft Carriers;financed the design completion for the Successor Class submarines;developed plans for HS2 and HS3;made sure Network Rail's 5 year £35 billion upgrade plans went ahead. Labour had nothing of the sort in 1997 and they have nothing now. Good infrastructure = Good economy. Ask any ant or termite.

I'm honestly not confident enough that the British public will make the right choice.

If there were a decent and well-informed debate, I think it quite possible that UKIP would get blown out of the water.

The one where miliband just got owned. Why do you edit posts???

I edited your post as that was the only part I was responding to.

You actually thought that Miliband was going to get an easy ride? Why? Do you believe the BBC were going to stack the audience in his favor? Or is it the first time you have watched question time?
