Really? If people from Brighton were unfortunate enough to find themselves staying in a hotel in Sunderland they would make a beeline for Newcastle. If they were staying in Bolton they would go to Manchester. It is what you do. Go to the cool interesting place. Eastbourne is nice enough, but it isn't Brighton.

Fact is we go away to to all these shit towns, we have to google decent pubs to find somewhere that will sell a decent pint. You northerners get off the train in Brighton and you can stumble in to one of ten decent pubs within 100 yards of the station. That is probably why we look down on most of the shit towns we have to visit.

To be honest most of the towns is good if you know where to go, I would hazard a guess at most away fans going to Brighton would use google first as well. I was just saying that if your hotel was in Eastbourne I would think most people would not bother getting another bus to Brighton when they then have to worry about finding it again when hammered

I could show you a number of quality pubs in Sunderland where many Brighton fans would feel at home if you bothered to look, Bolton I have only been to a few times and would go to whatever pub I knew fans were gathering at which is likely to be the closest to the station (historically Sunderland fans met at the first pub out of the station, nice and easy that way)

Or, to put it another way, how not to do an awayday
