It's just that saying Disney run 25% of the world's media is tough to accept - sure they own one of teh big US stations - but I doubt, for instane, they have any hold over Xinhua in China which reaches about 20% of the global population.

Aboslutely - those big corporations put food on my table - but like any good analyst it doesnt mean I blindly take on board all that those in authority say.

The real debate that concerns me is the growing role of China around the world, in Africa, Central America, SE Asia, the Caucases etc. Believe me - I would much rather have the US, WWF, Disney and the rest of the gang running the show than those in Beijing. Burma is a key test case to see whether China can be a responsible global power - they failed in North Korea, lets just see what happens here. The signs are not good though.
