The most important thing to bear in mind is that bullies are scared and / or insecure. They will often pick on people who are or appear to be by themselves. Loners. They're easy targets.

Try to get in with a group (but don't try to hard and make yourself a pain in the arse). If you're in a group, the bullying will more than likely stop.

Also, try to ignore them and try to avoid them if possible (but don't run away or leave the room/area if they turn up, it makes them know that you're scared).

Last option (which is not easy), stand your ground. If they start to get violent, try to hurt the biggest one there. Will make the smaller ones more nervous of you in the future.

none of this helps mind , but it does stop , as i said in a previous post .bullies made my life hell for 9 years , i HATED going to school .

I was bullied by one kid for 8 years, we were always in the same class. I took all the insults and piss-takes for all that time, then one day it stopped. I broke his nose.

i put up with this prick for about a year, he didnt like it because i was more intelligent and better than football than him, so he bullied me, and got his chav crew on to me. then one day i flipped and lashed out. guess which one got temporarily excluded yep me, muggins!!

Good advice Yorkie.Kev,the next time one of them tries to start an argument,bite your tongue and walk away.Don't get involved in a slanging match.If you don't respond to their insults they'll get fed up and leave you alone

When i was 14, I was cycling along to meet my mum at work, i got there and put my bike down on the ground because i did'nt have a kick stand, when she came out after work this was about lunchtime. I picked my bike up and the handlebar hit my bollocks and i did'nt feel anythink at the time but i was cycling along then my groin started to hurt, i got home and it was still hurting then i look down below and i saw my testicles blown up like a beach ball.
So next day i went to the doctors this was in the summer time, and they sent me to the hospital and i had a bloodclot on my left testicle so i needed a operation.
I woke up and i was like i am glad thats over, i didnt lose my testicle thank f*** for that or i wouldnt had any little kev running round with my future wife.
I stayed there over night and i when i left i had stitches on my testicles and i had to wear the most crappest pants for two weeks and this was on a thursday 2 days before the start of the Football season.
