Just a view,Seasider,so calm down.One doesn't have to be a qualified medic to put forward such a view.I also stand by my claim that some managers are more likely to take a gamble on players with a history of injuries,than others.That is all.

Based on what evidence? During the Lua Lua saga the whole issue appeared to revolve around insurance, so assuming the same criterion applies in all signings I would have thought there was little discretion for managers. It will largely be down to a risk assessment by the people who control the clubs finances.

Confused by your question.I am sure all managers have a huge say in who they try and sign and no doubt many of them will take account of injury records,disciplinary records and such like.All I am saying is that some managers are more prepared to take a gamble than others!
For instance,Gary Waddock twice signed Hinsh,despite his injury record,because he rated him as both a player and skipper.Not every manager would have been prepared to take that risk.Sadly it didn't work out.
