Said it before and I'll say it again. Buckley doesn't appear able to retain fitness for more than 2 or 3 games on the bounce, for this reason alone he's simply not worth the potential out lay in wages.
Such a shame as he could be just we'd be looking for if his hamstrings were up to the job.
As for Bridcutt, I liked him as a player and a person before he left under that cloud. However, we have all the centre midfielders we need at present, and i don't think he'd fit in to this current style of play
I don't think hamstrings are a serious problem ? I do not how it effects training if he can't run at full pace when practicing

Wages may well be a problem as he is on £15K + bonuses for Sunderland. Not insurmountable.
I'm not sure the other wingers around (with which we have been linked) are fast enough.
