I think Bridcutt best value over Kayal would be his tendency (not sure of ability) to cover in defence and allowing a central defender to go forward. In all other respects I prefer Kayal. I do not see this as a priority position though, not until we get a right winger, second striker and central covering defender. Even then a left footed midfielder would be better.
What Bridcutt did brilliantly was cover a full back if they ventured forward. Hyypia's marauding FB tactic could've worked if Liam was still here.
