I've always really liked him, he's very good technically and he would add the dimension that Livermore should have done, had he been given a chance. Naturally left footed, I say get him in!

Though, the last player we signed from Hull didn't turn out so well. :jester:

The player before Livermore, certainly has, pattern emerging?

Is he from the South, if so we might be in for a shout. I would imagine that Hull would have circulated his details first about being loaned out. Much like Livermore for us, perhaps his wages were too high.

Now having being paid off, he will settle for less and a lower league. If he is from the South he may wish to move back.

He's a Scouser - and I heard he'd moved his family from Hull back to Merseyside to get them settled in advance of a move back near home.
So perhaps this will only be until the summer?

Quality player and way too good for League One, as demonstrated by the following quote..... which completely rules us out:

"After being paid up by the Tigers, Hughes wouldn’t have commanded huge wages but the lure of the Championship has proved too much."
