He looks a bit like, if Dunky had to bring his teenage brother to training.

"You look like your brother son, but with a cooler haircut aye?"

"Yeah, Whatever."

Just Like A Pill - Pink

Run just as fast as you can
To the middle of nowhere
To the middle of defenders fears
And I swear, we like Bryan Gil
Cos he's making us better
With his pace and his skill
With his pace and his skill

Anyone know the rules about numbers of loans?

Currently Spurs have 7 on loan who have played first team games

Spurs trying to sign someone currently and then loan them back

GIl would make 8 and new signing 9

Bothered to google this today

Currently domestic loans don't count toward the 6 loan rule, its changing in 2025

I think it would be a loan to buy, earlier reports say Spurs don't want to loan him again with out a buy clause.

Eh? He turned the game for them a few weeks ago. He looked plenty quick enough then. I remember saying at the time “thank f*** he didn’t start”.
There's a reason he gets nowhere the Spurs team despite when it's been decimated by injury. He isn't quick, strong, good in the air and can't take people on. He didn't change the game when he came on. We made mistakes, made too many changes and Spurs went gung ho. Yeah he looked tidy but if you watch the game he had a great opening but sliced it wide near post when it was 4-2. He won't improve us imo. Move on.

Was thinking the same team.

I wonder if we have a permanent signing we’d prefer to sign (like Roony Bardghji, cough, cough) and will go back for Gil if and when it appears that target is not possible?

Would be very pleased to get Bardghji. Seems as if his club want him sold this window.
My gut feeling is that he wants a Big Six (like Nusa with Spuds) but time is running out for them to get their FFP/PRS ducks in order.

There could be some very good deals on the last day (as Brentford have proved) once players and their representatives realise they won’t be getting a Big Six deal this window.

Not convinced that this guy is anything but a stop gap until Mitoma, Andingra, Enciso etc. are back.

But maybe that's all we need him to be.
