We have a massive stadium to fill. Mascots are a good way of engaging the kids and we must remember that the last 13-14 years of playing miles away/in a small capacity, roofless shithole mean we have lost a large percentage of a whole genaration of young local fans. We should be doing everything in our power to make sure the next generation of local kids are wearing stripes rather than Chelsea blue). Yes, I think they mascots are a bit shit but my kid loves Gully and I haven't even taken him to a game yet (he sees him on the box from time to time, on club marketing and he is part of Gully's Gang)! Save Gully!
