Since you asked - :p

Reading - Leeds (on a Tues night) 3,029. Brighton 2,929

West Ham - Leeds (police capped and Fri night on TV) 2,254. Brighton 2,646.

Gillingham - Leeds (Tues night) 1,372. Brighton 1,363.

We haven't played QPR yet but it is already sold out, upper and lower tier and we've not played Watford yet.

The reason that your away following is so big this season is because of the novelty value of being in the lower league and 'crossing grounds of the list'. Wait until next season when you can bet your bottom dollar that Leeds' home and away crowds will be down on this year.

Probably the club that has the best away following in this division is my club (don't look at games in isolation but overall)

Shame your fans don't turn up at home then, eh ;-) Only time will tell so far as next season goes, there are on average 1,600 people who have missed out on away tickets per game this season, we sell (and have done since pre-Div 1 champions) the maximum amount of away season tickets we are allowed to.

Not sure what you mean by having the 'best' away support, we had 5,000+ at Wigan and were loud but the nearly 2,000 at Plymouth on a Tuesday night was the best I've seen since that night in the San Siro, so guess it goes by what you use to judge it - attendances alone it's Leeds this season. I am at home, but work for a football club and get football league figures through weekly, haven't looked since the weekend Leeds played away at Wigan but at that point we had the highest away average support.

But means nothing, if you turn up and support your team that's all that counts, be it ten people or ten thousand.

We do turn up at home though Starry. 27000 is a bloody good average for this division. Its only 2000 behind your lot as well. We're used to this division. We've been up and down more times than a prostitutes knickers. Our attendance this season is more or less the same as last season and thats good enough for me. Like I say its its novelty value for you and a chance to cross grounds off.

I do agree with you regarding whether 10 or 10,000 turn up though. The loyal fans of all clubs in this country are to be commended.
